How do I send messages to the newsgroup?
You can use your email client's "Reply To" feature to send email to the newsgroup, or you can send email directly to newsgroup@mutatismutandis.org.

Can anyone send email to this list?
No, you must subscribe to send email to the list.

What about spam?
We have (we hope) a strict policy against spam. If you feel you get to much spam on the list, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who is the audience of the newsgroup?
Anyone can subscribe, though the intent is for players and game administrators. If too much abuse occurs, we will move from a self-registration process to an admin-registration process. Since our players include persons of all ages, please keep that in mind when addressing the newsgroup; think of it as having a "G" rating.

What happens to my messages?
They get archived on the web site without your email address. Be sure to include a signature on the message so that the readers know who wrote it. Ambiguous messages will be removed.

How do I sign my posts?
You can sign your posts as your MUX character or as yourself, it's up to you.

Why is the sender information removed from the archives?
This is to keep your email address relatively safe from being harvested off of the web site and spammed. The list of members of the newsgroup is kept relatively private; it is shared only when you post to the group.
