If you are going to be gone for any period of time, and know it, you should both set your f-vacation attribute AND @mail *Wizards with a note indicating how long you will be gone so that the VACATION flag may be set on your character. Refer to '+help finger attributes' for more information about the attribute.

If you are going to be gone for more than a month, you must confirm this with the Wizards. If idle-nuke warnings go out while you are on vacation, and you fail to set your F-VACATION, your character may be gone when you return.
