[index] [one] [two] [three] [four] For those of you who are new to MU*ing, a lemming is someone who comes into an ongoing roleplay scene without IC motivation for being there. More specifically, someone who continually checks +where to see where people are and then "accidentally" stumbles into a scene where a group of people just happen to be. Note that this is intentionally OOCly motivated intrusion. Happening along ICly, wandering about, is part of what makes gaming in this environment what it is. So we emphasize that spontaneous roleplay is a good thing, whether it be a chance casual interaction or a fight. In order for this to happen, there has to be an initial encounter. So the issue is really where do the problems start... |
