  Combat Guide: Damage and Injuries
[index] [overview] [take turns] [no cutting] [pose with caution] [respect others] [pay attention] [damage and injuries] [stopped time]

While in combat, two things are sure to result from it: Damage to the area and personal injuries. Try to keep in mind the damage that you will do and that is being done by others. Also keep in mind the damage that is done to yourself. If you have just received a hard punch in the jaw, then you might have trouble talking. If you pose being hit and smacking into a building, emitting a sickening *cracking* noise when you hit, then chances are that means not only that it hurt, but you are hurt too. It's safe to say that no one likes being injured and out of RP for a while, but IC actions bring forth IC consequences. Unless you have been healed by magickal means or extremely high tech (and you can use your best judgment on that) then you would not be running around the next day. You need to be fair about this, otherwise, you might find that people will not enjoy RPing with you. Note also that you should take appropriate damage; taking too much damage is just as bad as not taking enough.
