Do not ignore others.
Most of the time it is not done intentionally but it does happen. Try and pay attention. As previously stated, this is not a typing or reaction speed test. If you take things slowly and allow everyone their turn, then missing things should not happen very often. Do not ignore the powers or actions of others. If someone is beating your face in, do not sit there and talk to them, make snide comments and ignore the pain you would be feeling. Chances are, you would not have time to do such. If you pose that you are standing near Dazzler, glaring at her and she lets forth a light blast, then you are blind. If you say you are within 10 feet of Arclight and she causes an area shockwave, you will be effected, you will fall if not be thrown back. And please note the intensity of the person's powers. You will not just see little dots if Dazzler blinds you. You will not stumble back but regain your footing if Arclight opens up a fissure or something like that. You will not dodge hurricane winds Storm brings forth if you are anywhere near where she is doing it.
