[index] [humans] [metahumans] [mutants] [other] Mutants are those members of Homo Sapiens who have the 'X-Factor' in their genetic make-up. The term Homo Sapiens Superior was coined by our favorite megalomaniac, Magneto. In one of the recent X-Paperbacks, the percentage of the population claimed to have been homo sapiens superior is roughly 15%. We encourage mutant player characters almost as emphatically as we encourage human player characters, as they is the lifeblood of the conflict which we wish to emphasize here on Mutatis Mutandis. While mutants are certainly not the majority in the IC world, they are the majority amongst player charactersand that suits us just fine. Again, consider the theme we've chosen for the MUX. However, it can lead to situations where the human reaction to your IC actions is not played out. Thus it is the responsibility of each player to keep in mind that while you are standing on the city street with flame shooting out of your eyes at a flying purple demon monkey, there are other people there who are not being playedthe human masses. |
