Mutants! Mutants! Mutants! This place is crawling with mutants! (In some cases literally.) What does a person have to do to simply run into a normal person? Well, now that you mentioned it.....

Humans are what make the world go around. Pure and simple, humans decide the direction the world takes. When there are around five billion of them, they're kind of hard to ignore. Humans are vital to the life of the MUX. We are trying to emulate some form of reality (although a bit spiced up), and to do that we need humans. In the Marvel Universe, humans are the majority. We'd love for that to be the case on this MUX as well. Humans are often more interesting characters than your generic mutant. After all, humans don't have flashy powers to fall back on.

Now, we realize that there's not much chance of having a humans to mutants ratio of 10 to 1, but we'd like to shoot for something like that. Humans of all walks of life are desperately wanted. We'll even take the ones no one likes. You know, the smelly ones (Ewww!). Humans are great for Roleplaying. They can stir up a lot of trouble, or save the day with their quick thinking. They can even have a normal life if that's what they want.

We want a lot of humans here, and we'd like you to play one. Human characters can be cannon fodder (destined to die), a long term character that you love to death and want to keep forever, or a temporary and occasional character you play for a change of pace. Humans are Good Things. Apply for one today. You already have experience role-playing one.

Applying for a human is easy. One simply fills out most of the application found in 'news application'. If you want to play a human with magical ability or exceptional technology or skills, be sure to be just as detailed on those sections of the application as a powered individual would be on powers. If you want to play a run-of-the-mill low powered human sort, great! You can be that much less detailed in your application. The personality and background sections can be more general, and less specific if you want (actually this is encouraged if you intend for the character to be cannon fodder). Everything else applies, though. Also please include whether the character is to be an Eta or Theta class human—see 'news classes'.

Once you've filled out the application email it to apps@mutatismutandis.org with the subject HC: <character name>. Please include this subject header so the application can be processed quickly and efficiently. However, if you wish to play a Featured Human, that character would count as an Featured Character and must be applied for as such.
