We accept applications for post-continuity characters from the X-Universe. However, we will be looking for applications which attempt to incorporate these characters into the spirit of our timeline. We chose this continuity break for a number of factors, and as such, we shall hold post-continuity characters to high standards. The manner in which you try to integrate the character into MUX continuity must be unique and creative, and successfully merge with the present continuity of the MUX.

Furthermore, when applying for these characters you are be required to be courteous with already cast characters regarding any and all claims to ties in backgrounds. Maverick, for example, would need the permission of all existing characters with ties to Team X or the Weapon X Project—as well as that of the wizards—in order to incorporate that into his background. In the event that that post-continuity background material was not incorporated into the existing character's conception, that sets the mandate for MUX continuity and must be respected by all successive applications. Do keep that in mind—just because it has been revealed by Marvel as 'truth' does not mean that anyone at MMM has incorporated it into their character.

In the event that key X-Universe Featured Characters are uncast, it is left to the discretion of the Applications Review committee to decide the propriety of any such contacts.
