Note that it is likely you will be required to re-write the application at least once. Although we do indeed have characters approved on the first draft of an application (believe it or don't :) the average for rewrites is one per character. By no means should you feel daunted by being asked to re-write an application. In most cases it is simply that details were omitted and it was too much to cover in an interview.
