Submissions Guidelines

We certainly appreciate and look forward to any and all log and fan fiction submissions that you send in to us. There are, however, a few guidelines which would help your submissions make it to the net in a much timelier fashion.
First of all, be sure to include the following information at the beginning of a log submission, ideally in this order:

  • Title of Log as you really would not want the editor to assign some dull name.
  • Name of Logger
  • Date logged if you remember it, that is. If not, a guess is better than nothing.
  • Names of Participating Characters
  • Location of Roleplay
  • Brief Synopsis of events leading up to the log that might help clarify things for the reader. Keep in mind, not everyone who reads these logs will be playing on MMM.
At the front of the log it is a good idea to include the descriptions of the participants, or as the appear on the scene. Please include the location of the roleplay, but please do not use descriptions of places where you are not the builder. When you travel from one point to another, just write a brief synopsis instead of showing us as each person leaves and then arrives at the new destination. Do this especially if the distance travelled is far. Be sure to take out all the "So-and-so has left.", "So-and-so has arrived.", "So-and-so has (dis/re)connected." notifications.
For works of fan fiction, be sure to include any copyright at the end that you might want on your work.
Finally, for all types of submissions, be sure to check grammar and spelling, proofreading your work before submitting it, and very importantly, with EACH new line/new pose/new paragraph, include a BLANK LINE so that it is not left to the person posting the submission to look through it line by line to find where to add the newline breaks. The characters < and > should be avoided to prevent confounding the hypertext. What you submit is EXACTLY what is going to appear on the page.
Thanks again, and keep the submissions coming :)
